My name is Kim Miller, and I started Ramblin’ Rose Photography 7 years ago in my hometown of Memphis, TN. After working in the field with several photographers to gain valuable experience, I felt that starting my own business was the natural next step. I took a huge leap of faith and I’ve never looked back! It has been such a sense of accomplishment to watch my little business that started with a couple of portfolio albums in a rolling suitcase grow into a thriving business. Ramblin’ Rose Photography is a labor of love and I count myself so fortunate to be working in a field that I am so passionate about.

My goal is to capture my subjects in their truest spirit. I want the images that I take to reflect who you are. When a friend or family member looks through your photographs, I want their reaction to be, “Wow! These photographs really show off your style and personality.” That is so important to me.

Clients often ask me how I came up with the name “Ramblin’ Rose.” I have to give my friend Hollie the credit for that one. I love to travel and I lived in several different cities throughout my twenties. Right before I moved to Minneapolis in 1999 for a job she referred to me as her little Ramblin’ Rose because I was always on the move. When I was brainstorming for a name, it just seemed to fit. I have since retired my Ramblin’ ways and now I just take a nice vacation if I need a change of scenery.
