Kim Miller
Kim Miller started Ramblin’ Rose Photography 9 years ago in her hometown of Memphis, TN. After working in the field with several photographers to gain valuable experience, she felt that starting her own business was the natural next step. She took a leap of faith and has never looked back! It has been such a sense of accomplishment to watch her tiny business that started with a couple of portfolio albums in a rolling suitcase grow into a thriving photography business that now also includes a portrait studio. Ramblin’ Rose Photography is a labor of love and she considers herself so fortunate to be working in a field that she is so passionate about.
Clients often ask Kim how she came up with the name “Ramblin’ Rose.” She has to give her friend Hollie the credit for that one. Kim loves to travel and she lived in several different cities throughout her twenties. Right before she moved to Minneapolis in 1999 for a job, some friends threw Kim a going away party. It was at that party that Hollie referred to her as a Ramblin’ Rose because she was moving away from Memphis again. When Kim was brainstorming for a name for her photography business, Ramblin’ Rose just seemed to fit. She has since retired her Ramblin’ ways and now will just take a nice vacation when she needs a change of scenery.
“Our goal at Ramblin’ RosePhotography is to capture our subjects in their truest spirit. We want the images that we take of you or your family to reflect who YOU are! We are artists and we do have our own vision to share with you, but the end result is to create images that you will love for a lifetime!” Kim
